MOSCOW -  The leadership of the so-called Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) plans to discuss captives' exchange with the Ukrainian side at a meeting of the contact group in Minsk next week, the prime minister of the self-proclaimed republic, Alexander Zakharchenko, told Interfax.

‘We have indeed suspended the exchange of captives with the Ukrainian side. The persons exchanged were not those entered on our lists. In actual fact, Ukrainian special services would capture natives of Donbas in Kyiv and exchange them for the military. The persons entered on the lists have not been handed over to us,’ he said.

Zakharchenko also said that the exchange of captives will be the focal point at the meeting of the contact group in Minsk.

‘The meeting will take place before the end of next week. This question will be raised and discussed. It is one of the most important issues,’ Zakharchenko said.
