DONETSK - Andriy Purhin, acting first deputy prime minister of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic, has been elected to the post of speaker of the so-called parliament of the Donetsk People's Republic.

All 95 Donetsk People’s Republic parliamentarians present at Nov. 14 session supported this decision, an Interfax ( interfax. ru) correspondent reported.

Denys Pushylin, who was recently appointed as the republic’s chief negotiator at meetings of the trilateral Contact Group in Minsk, was elected the deputy speaker of the Donetsk People’s Republic parliament.
