Ukraine tops the list of countries where journalists are most likely to be kidnapped, according to a report by Reporters Without Borders.

The report released on Dec. 16 states that 33 cases of abduction of members of the media were recorded in Ukraine during 2014. Libya is second on the list, Syria is third, and Iraq is fourth.

Ukraine also “leads” in the arrest of journalists. Forty-seven journalists were detained in the country this year. Egypt is second, Iran third, Nepal fourth, and Venezuela fifth.

Ukraine is also among top three “leaders” in the number of journalists killed. Six reporters were killed in the country this year, with Ukraine occupying third place on this list, which is topped by Syria and Palestine.
