“With the purpose of protecting consumers’ rights, the importation of
Ukrainian juice products, to the Russian Federation territory,
including those intended for children, has been suspended since July 29,
2014,” Rospotrebnadzor told Interfax on Thursday, July 31.

The information on the ban on imports of Ukrainian juice has been
forwarded to the Federal Customs Service and to Rospotrebnadzor’s
regional divisions, it said.

It has been found out that Ukrainian juice products have not
undergone state registration for compliance with the
Belarusian-Kazakh-Russian Customs Union’s technical regulations, while
its labels bear the EAC sign indicating that it can be circulated on the
Customs Union markets.
