Moscow - Russia is banning the supply of milk and dairy products beginning on July 28.

This decision was made due to numerous violations of the Russian veterinary and sanitary requirements. Specifically, tetracycline group antibiotics have been found in these products. The ban applies to all dairy products, including cheese.

“The ban imposed on July 28 automatically applies to so-called milk and cheese-containing products, which are manufactured from vegetable materials and milk,” Rosselkhoznadzor Director Sergei Dankvert told Interfax earlier.
