MOSCOW - Russian Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich, who leads an ad hoc government staff charged with handling issues related to the suspension of flights between Russia and Egypt, says he expects that flights with Egypt would be resumed soon but did not name any particular dates.

‘We plan that a mechanism to ensure flight safety will be devised within the next several weeks, and the final dates will be determined based on outcomes of our interaction with our partners in Egypt. We cannot name them right now. We hope we’ll be able to resume flights as soon as possible. We cannot give you exact dates,’ Dvorkovich told journalists following the staff’s first meeting on Friday evening.
