The results of our joint work is that 560 bodies [have been found],” Chairman of the Board at “People’s Memory Union” Yaroslav Zhylkin told journalists in Kyiv in May 7.

According to him, the majority of the bodies were found during the search.

“I’m talking about Ukrainian side – both soldiers and representatives of other formations,” Zhylkin said.

He said that the NGO was working in cooperation with Ukrainian Armed Forces at the search sites. Ukrainian army ensures safety during the search and helps to pass roadblocks.

According to Zhylkin, the search operation is provided with the fuel, there’s no other participation from the state.

Zhylkin noted that due to technical issues, searchers kept contact with the enemy on the territories not controlled by Ukraine.
