The hostile storming of Ukrainian military positions near Maryinka has been stopped, Ukraine's Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak said.

“Enemy storming near Maryinka has been stopped,” Poltorak told reporters on June 3, according to the ministry’s spokesperson.

“The storming had been stopped by 3 p.m., seven Ukrainian military servicemen have been injured,” the spokesperson said.

“The enemy’s casualties are being verified. The coherent actions of our troops forced the enemy to stop. The situation is under control, we have the necessary forces and means to strike back,” Poltorak said.
