Since the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine started, the Ukrainian army has lost 568 people, the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council information and analytical center spokesman Andriy Lysenko said at a briefing in Kyiv on Monday, Aug. 11.
“Since the counter-terrorism operation started, as of 9 a.m. today, 568 Ukrainian servicemen died and 2,120 were wounded,” Lysenko said.
According to the National Security and Defense Council, in the past 24 hours six Ukrainian troops died and 24 were injured.
