You're reading: Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania to start combined exercises soon

A joint Ukrainian-Polish-Lithuanian military brigade will begin exercises soon, Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski has said in Kyiv.

He said that when Ukraine and Poland stick together they are invincible and this inspired the countries to establish the joint multinational brigade.

According to Komorowski, the three states will do their best to maintain peace and security in Ukraine.

The protocol on the creation of a Ukrainian-Polish-Lithuanian brigade was signed in Warsaw in Sept. 19, 2014, and ratified by Verkhovna Rada on Feb. 4, 2015.
