The town of Avdiyivka in Donetsk region was freed from illegal armed groups on Tuesday, July 29, the press center of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) has reported.
The cleansing of the town of Ilovaisk in Donetsk region has begun,
and the operation to liberate the town of Pervomaisk in Luhansk region
is underway.
The report also notes that Ukrainian servicemen sustained no casualties last night.
At the same time, the ATO press center reported that the militants
“are trying to use the tactic of scorched earth and terror against the
civilian population in order to reduce the resistance of local
residents.”
