You're reading: Ukrainian State Emergency Service predicts growth in number of displaced persons

Ukraine currently has 455,175 displaced persons, Ukrainian State Emergency Service head Serhiy Bochkovsky has said.

“As of yesterday, 455,175 persons have been temporary resettled, including 127,409 children and 84,946 persons with disabilities and senior citizens,” he said at a press conference in Kyiv on Nov. 10.

Bochkovsky said the Ukrainian authorities had been expecting the soonest possible growth in the number of people resettled.
