Next year the Ukrainian insurance market could present a War risk and terrorism insurance package to corporate clients and individuals, Board Chairman of INGO Ukraine (Kyiv) Ihor Hordiyenko said at a press conference on Nov. 11.

He said that now some insurance companies are holding talks on the purchase of obligatory war risk and terrorism insurance coverage and the price of policies will depend on its cost.

He also said that this type of insurance exists for over 50 years. There are companies in the world which provide insurance coverage. The average tariff under the said agreements totals 10 percent.

He also said that this year INGO Ukraine signed one war risk insurance agreement.

INGO Ukraine has been operating since 1994. It has a central office in Kyiv, 25 branches in all regional centers of Ukraine and more than 100 customer service offices. The company employs over 600 people.

INGO Ukraine is part of the INGO international insurance group, as well as a subsidiary ofIngosstrakh (Russia).

The insurer has licenses for 28 types of compulsory and voluntary insurance. The company’s clientele includes corporate customers and individuals.
