JERUSALEM — Israel's Foreign Ministry says the death toll in the bombing of a bus of Israeli tourists in Bulgaria has risen to eight, after a man died of his wounds.

Ministry spokesman Lior Ben Dor said Thursday that six
Israelis were killed and 32 were wounded. The Israeli media says the
other two dead were Bulgarians.

The Israelis had just landed at the Black Sea city of Burgas on Wednesday when an explosion ripped through their bus.

Defense
Minister Ehud Barak told Army Radio on Thursday he thought Lebanon’s
Iranian-sponsored Hezbollah group carried out the assault.

The
bombing in Burgas was the latest in a string of attacks and attempted
attacks attributed to Iran targeting Israelis and Jews overseas in the
past year.

Iran has denied involvement for past attacks.
