WARSAW, Poland (AP) — Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has warned constructors of key projects for the 2012 European Championship that they could lose their contracts due to delays and building flaws.

The warning Thursday comes amid growing signs of significant problems with the 55,000-seat National Stadium in Warsaw, being built by an Austrian-Polish consortium, and other projects.

The National Sports Center, a state body overseeing the stadium building, said Red Bull has canceled plans for an X-Fighters motocross event that had been planned for Aug. 7 at the stadium because of the problems.

The stadium was originally supposed to be finished June 30.

A highway being built by a Chinese company is also behind schedule.
