An earthquake jolted Japan on Wednesday near a nuclear plant crippled by a March 11 quake and tsunami but there were no immediate reports of any further damage.
The Wednesday quake had a preliminary magnitude of 4.7 and was at a depth of 10 km (six miles), Japan's meteorological agency said. The March 11 quake and tsunami seriously damaged the nuclear plant on Japan's northeast coast and left 23,000 people dead or missing.
