Kharkiv – Three doctors from Berlin's Charite Clinic are expected to arrive in Kharkiv on Sunday, Oct. 14, to visit former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko in Ukrzaliznytsia's Central Clinical Hospital No. 5, Ukrainian Deputy Health Minister Raisa Moiseyenko has said.

“Our colleagues are expected to arrive on Sunday, Oct. 14, all
those who are involved in carrying out rehabilitation measures, i.e. Mr.
Einhaupl, Mr. Harms and Mrs. Reisshauer [the CEO and doctors of the
German clinic]. I cannot say whether they will come or not,” she said at
a briefing in Kyiv on Friday.

She noted that Ukrainian doctors, who are members of an international
medical commission, planned to discuss with their German colleagues
questions of the treatment and rehabilitation of the ex-prime minister,
adding that the German doctors assumed responsibility for Tymoshenko’s
health.

“Tymoshenko’s doctors are now the Germans, and they have assumed full
responsibility. They are drafting treatment schemes. They’ve asked for
an eight-week period of so-called silence, and we met them halfway. They
will come, and we will listen to what they recommend to us, and we will
discuss this situation,” Moiseyenko said.
