One of Ukraine’s biggest annual book fairs kicked off on Oct. 4 at Mystetsky Arsenal near Pecherska Lavra. The event brings together more than 50 prominent writers from Ukraine, Russia and several European countries.

Ukraine’s Yuri Andrukhovych, Liubko Deresh, Sergiy Zhadan, Italian Alessandro Baricco, Austrian Joseph Vinkler and French Gerard de Cortanze will be giving a series of master classes and lectures on modern literature over four days at the fair.

Naturally, book lovers will get to browse Ukrainian bestsellers and of the world’s modern literature, comic books and graphic works.
