Vyshyvanka RunParticipants of the Vyshyvanka Run charity sports event will celebrate the 25th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence and raise money for athletics equipment for schools in Kyiv. Classical
music concert

An evening performance of the charming
melodies of Antonio Vivaldi, Johann Strauss, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Antonin
Dvorak and Johannes Brahmswill be accompanied by a romantic sunset and the
sound of birdsong at Kyiv’s Hryshko botanical garden.

Koktebel Jazz Festival

This popular music festival took its name
from the small village of Koktebel, in Crimea. After Russia’s annexation of
Crimea it changed its location, but not its name. This year, for the first
time, the festival will be held in Odesa Oblast. The UK jazz band Submotion
Orchestra, Austrian saxophonist Max the Sax, Israeli indie pop band Garden City
Movement, American jazz trio The Bad Plus, and many others are headlining the
festival.

The
Dressmaker

This Australian comedy-drama film explores
the themes of revenge and creativity. It tells the story of a beautiful and
talented dressmaker,Myrtle Tilly Dunnage, who returns to a small Australian
town to take care of her mentally unstable mother. The gorgeous Kate Winslet stars,
playing the main role of dressmaker and femme fatale.

Ukrainian
army photo exhibition

This photo exhibition consists of 200
pictures featuring the everyday life of Ukrainian soldiers, their military
training, weapons and uniforms, help from volunteers and the medical treatment of
the wounded.

Master
classes festival

Visitors to this festival will be able to
have a portrait drawn of themselves in caricature, attend yoga and dance
workshops, as well as sample street food and learn how to cook sweets and dishes
of molecular cuisine (which focuses on the chemical changes that occur during
cooking). The festival’s evening program includes folk music and a beach party.
