Belarusian modern art exhibition

rends and developments of Belarusian art from the mid-1980s until the present. More than 200 art works as well as documentary photos and videos from various artistic performances will be presented at the exhibition.

Classical music concert

Orchestra will perform the best pieces by the outstanding Ukrainian composer Myroslav Skoryk, along with much-loved compositions by French composers Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel.

‘Carol’ melodrama

This movie tells the story of a complicated love relationship between two women living in New York City in the mid-1950s. The film is screened in English with Ukrainian subtitles.

Rock show

The young Ukrainian rock band Terytoriya Svitla (Territory of Light) will perform their hits in Kyiv’s Bochka pub.

Film artifacts exhibition

This exhibition dives into the world of the famous film “Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors” by Soviet filmmaker Sergei Parajanov. The award-winning movie about the Hutsuls, a Ukrainian ethnic group living in the Carpathians, is based on a short novel by Ukrainian author Mykhailo Kotsiubynsky. The exhibition features more than 100 props from the film set, 20 video interviews, photos and videos from the film archive.

Ukraine vs. Wales (soccer)

Ukraine’s national soccer team plays Wales at Kyiv’s Olympiysky Stadium in a friendly match on March 28. Both of the teams have already qualified for the UEFA Euro 2016 tournament in France this June, Wales in Group B, and Ukraine in Group C.
