Ani Lorak 

he Kyiv concert of the singer’s 21 cities’ tour “Obnimi Menya” (Hug Me). Ani Lorak, who turned 35 on Sept. 27, is the winner of the numerous awards, including VIVA magazine’s The Most Beautiful People 2012 and The Best Vocalist at Russian MUZ-TV 2013.

Asian Food Festival 

Making a first appearance in Ukraine, the Asian Food Festival is aimed at introducing the culture, food, traditions and art of the Asian countries to Ukrainians. Seven Asian Embassies in Ukraine (Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Japan, South Korea, India and Pakistan) will showcase their countries’ best features, including cuisine, dance, art and clothing.

“Mozart” rock opera


One of the most0discussed shows, the French rock opera “Mozart” is in Kyiv. The fusion of classical tunes and rock arrangements, with a talented cast (Mikelangelo Loconte as Mozart and Florent Mothe as his rival Salieri) deliver impressive performances.

Daniel Lavoie


Daniel Lavoie is the actor, singer, musician, composer, mostly known for his unforgettable portrayal of Claude Frollo in “Notre Dame de Paris” musical. Apart from that, Lavoie composes for Celine Dion, Lara Fabian and Mireille Mathieu. He is back in Kyiv after his last show in 2012.

Cheese Festival 

The Cheese holiday will deliver the variety of competitions, quizzes and fun trivia, including the first in Ukraine Cheese Run. The audience will be able to enjoy variety of tastings, including a degustation of fondue with crackers, to the music performed by Ukrainian bands.

Krzysztof Bednarski’s exhibition 

Organized by Polish Institute in partnership with National Academy of Art and Italian Culture Institute, this exhibition includes sculptures from the series “Total Portrait of Karl Marx” and “Group Portrait” that was created in a span of 1978-2013.

John Lennon’s birthday


A celebration of the birthday of John Lennon, the dreamer, the believer and the Beatles icon murdered in 1980 will take place in Art Club 44. Lennon’s songs will be performed by Ukrainian bands YouCrane, Sergey Gordienko, Loreleya.

Ukraine vs. Poland 

The World Cup qualifier game between Ukraine and Poland will take place in Kharkiv. While England’s team is the European zone qualifying group’s leader, Ukraine is only one point behind. The group winners will qualify for the 2013 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
