A series of Mexican short films will give you a peek into the lives of dozens of unusual Mexican characters.

Among them are a man lost in the desert struggling to differentiate mirage from reality; a guy believing that everyone resembles an animal and wishing to be a bear, like his father; a street vendor taking a foreigner on a journey to bring out feelings and loneliness despite the cultural difference.

Five different movie sets will be presented, each complied out of the winning movies of five Mexican film festivals throughout years 2006-2010. One selection is specially designed for kids but promising to be interesting for their parents as well.

The festival, which is part of Molodist film festival, is dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the independence of Mexico.
