LORD OF THE DANCE 3D

Musical
USA 2011, 95’
Language: English with Ukrainian subtitles
Dec. 8 – Dec. 14

The live performance of a traditional Irish dance show, telling the story of Lord of the Dance, who fights with the evil lord Don Dorcha, is reported to have been seen by more than 60 million of people across the globe.

Still, its filmed version in 3D, released earlier this year, can save you $100 and many headaches by watching this show based on the Irish folklore fairy tale on screen. The main character in the movie and in the real life show is the American dancer Michael Flatley.

Born in 1958 in Chicago to the Irish parents, Flatley proved to be the true Irish by winning all major Irish Dance Competitions in the world. After trying himself in different shows, he ended up in creating his own – Lord of the Dance.

Though Flatley is criticized for narcissism and monotony, he is still the Lord of the Dance. His legs live a separate life from his body – and amaze. Watching his show is a must, even just to find out you don’t like it.
