This is Ukraine’s wonderful spin off the famous man band Take 6. Inspired by the Grammy-winning Take 6, composer Volodymyr Miknovetsky created his own version in 1994.
Also made up of six male singers and performing a capella, ManSound is possibly the most impressive sextet of Ukraine and the former Soviet Union.
They are about to present their new album in Kyiv called “Acapellissimo”. But apart from new compositions, ManSound is to delight its fans with unusual interpretations of famous classical and pop music hits. The Kyiv concert is a part of the band’s ongoing tour across Ukraine and Russia.
