More than that, I notice political court decisions. Judges should not be used by politicians. Here in America, we have more freedom. However, there are many who see freedom as a license to commit crime, so in America, are twice as many prisoners in prison, as anywhere else, including Ukraine.

However, not so many politicians are imprisoned in America, as are imprisoned in Russia, in Belarus and in Ukraine. he criminals in USA are not political opponents of the rulers. They are either financial deceivers, or violent men and women.

Many homes in the USA are defended with firearms, so there is rarely any home invasion. Most crimes in USA are violence against relatives or friends, connected with alcohol or drug use.

The surprising thing to us is that politicians in some countries are able to influence judges. Here in the USA judges cost much more to be "bought": millions of dollars.

At least American judges do not sell their honorable character for a cheap price. Some judges cannot be “bought.” In any event, there are a few good, honest men, in law and in journalism. The biggest crime in America, is the bribing of politicians, called "lobbying."

Lutsenkois not guilty of any crime, except opposingPresident Viktor Yanukovych.

Judges [in Ukraine] need to decide whether they will please Yanukovych or do what is just to free Lutsenko. Judges are not supposed to be used by politicians. Lutsenko’s freedom. will postpone sanctions; his imprisonment for 4 1/2 years will likely bring sanctions.

Belarus is an even more undemocratic, unjust country. Ukraine and Belarus will both be included in sanctions. You do not think that sanctions willaffect you, personally. Maybe not, this year. But after a few years of sanctions, you will revise your attitude.

Yanukovych is leading you all back to the new Soviet Union, the [Russian-led] Customs Union. You will experience Soviet-style justice. Then it will be too late for you.

Under Soviet-Stalinist style justice, you will not be true judges, only instruments of the state. Free Europe will continue without you. Russian soldiers will put a stop to your freedoms.

Yours truly,
