Here’s the summary for April 9
The bad news:
1. Starting tomorrow, a revitalizing new wave of separatist movements gets under way. Their main goal is to bring the separatist sabbath to its apotheosis by May 9.
They are just following the scenario. The current work of Ukrainian law enforcement and intelligence agencies casts serious doubt on the implementation of these iridescent plans by Moscow’s bootlickers.
Concessions by the occupiers of administrative buildings, e.g. in Luhansk (I mean the release of hostages) – is their understanding that the ball is in the Ukrainian law enforcement’s court. Let’s hope it won’t get to the other side of the court.
2. The Communist Party of Ukraine has showed its true face, after the Party of Regions.
Thus, Petro Symonenko, the leader of the CPU, announced that there were no separatists and terrorists in the east, and that his party supports the demands issued by the insurgents.
We completely agree with Symonenko regarding the separatists. There are no separatists in Donetsk, Luhansk, and Kharkiv. Since these gentlemen are trying to secede from Ukraine not to build their independence, but to join Russia, this is not separatism. That is pure collaborationism. That is, betrayal and treason.
It turns out that Symomenko happily announces his support for collaborationism. He and his party support the betrayal with every fiber of their being. Well, I’m glad they dotted their “i’s” on that one.
The good news:
1. In the past 24 hours, the Security Service of Ukraine has detained numerous pro-Russian terrorists and Russian saboteurs in the east and south of Ukraine.
All of this is the final and decisive phase of the disruption of the Kremlin’s scenario to prepare ground for the Russian invasion, which has been under way for the past three days.
Every such arrest is a missing bayonet in the Ukrainian legion of the Kremlin. And when it comes to organizers (as in the case of the detenion of the Kherson Oblast resident who had amassed a group to seize the Khakhovka water power plant) – this is a powerful blow to Moscow’s entire subversion network in Ukraine.
2. The former Party of Regions member and current presidential candidate Oleh Tsaryov has tried to pay a visit to separatists injured in clashes in the city of Mykolayiv.
Tsaryov showed up at the hospital wearing the St. George’s ribbon. For that, he was called a “Russian fascist” and got banged up. Not a whole lot, but the candidate’s face was slightly readjusted.
I am a humanist. I am absolutely against violence. And I put this piece of news under the good category only because I am confident: this unfortunate incident with Tsaryov will force our Presidential candidate to pay attention to the problems with medical care in Mykolayiv.
3. The majority of Donetsk residents – 65.7 percent want to live in a united Ukraine. Only 18.2 percent of the residents intend to get stuck with Russian and become the loyal subjects of Putin.
This is evidenced by the results of the social poll conducted by the Institute for Social Research and Political Analysis, which was initiated by the Coalition of public organizations of Donetsk.
There is no comment. If the number of “Putin’s fans” is so low in the separatist nest of Donetsk, then what does this say about other Ukrainian cities? Only a very stupid or a very sneaky and hypocritical person can tell fables that our east is seeking in unison to become part of the Russian Federation.
