In November, the European Union and Ukraine might sign an association agreement at the Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius, Lithuania. If concluded, it would represent a landmark for Ukraine on its quest to join the European Union, and effectively move the country onto a different economic, and possibly political, path.
