Ukrainian education is a choice of foreign students

Ukraine is in the top 20 countries on the number of foreign students studying in the Ukrainian higher educational institutions. On Mykola Dmytrychenko, the rector of the National Transport University, foreign students’ choice is explained by qualitative and cheap education in Ukraine. Totally, around 60,000 foreign students, mostly, from Africa, Asia and the Middle East countries, are studying in Ukraine at present time.

On Feb. 20, the European Union finally opened the market for Ukrainian poultry producers. Thus, Ukraine can export eggs, egg products and poultry itself. In the nearest future the country intends to get access to the EU market of meat and milk products.

In June, Opishnia village in Poltava Oblast holds the first in Ukraine pottery festival aimed at reviving pottery traditions and gathering pottery items producers, scientists and art experts together. The event is meant for artists-ceramists, masters in pottery, art and ceramics experts, archeologists, historians, ethnographers, culture experts, writers and collectors

The festival program includes fairs of masters and blacksmiths, master-classes in pottery, folk parties, rides in horse carts, children’s contests and entertainments, ethnographic disco, ceramics auctions and cognitive excursion around the National museum of Ukrainian pottery.

The project of an aerodynamic racing KAMAZ (a truck manufactured in Russia) by an engineer Oleksandr Voytyuk was recognized the best at a design contest organized by ‘Askon’ company specialized in programs for engineering construction. The winner, a native of the city of Kherson, was given a scale model of KAMAZ signed by Vladimir Chagin, member of the racing crew who has won Dakar Rally for seven times. Moreover, the contest prize-winner got a professional computer video card.
