Crimean resort to
present ‘new face’

On May 22-23, Yevpatoria
will host a second International Exhibition on Crimean Tourist Routes
and Excursions titled “The new face of an old resort.” The event
will also include a national contest “Excursion mosaic of Crimea.”

The exhibition is aimed
at developing tourism, promoting Crimea, and accessing the region’s
tourism potential and its historical and cultural heritage.

Symbol of
Ukrainian-Italian love unveiled in Kyiv

Walking not far from the
bridge of Lovers, located in Kyiv’s Mariinsky Park, one can see the
Love Story monument devoted to the love of an Italian soldier Luigi
Pedutto and a Ukrainian Mokryna Yurzuk, who are sometimes called a
modern Romeo and Juliet. The young people met when they were in their
early twenties. Falling in love during the war, they were forced to
part after it, but met again 60 years later.

The commission on
public morals supported Ukrainian dancers

The National Expert
Commission of Ukraine for the Protection of Public Morals presented
the Ukrainian Federation of Modern Dance with an award for its
activities on popularizing a healthy lifestyle, inspiring young
people to make progress in art and sports, promoting harmonious
development of children and youth, and significant contributions into
the formation of moral and spiritual values of Ukrainian society.

The honorable award was
given in the framework of the Open Championship of Ukraine-2013 held
on May 9-10, in Kyiv.

Dutch investors invest
in Ukraine’s viticulture

The Council of Ministers
of Crimea and Marussia Beverages BV Company (the Netherlands) signed
a memorandum on cooperation in agriculture. In particular, the
document foresees the implementation of modern technologies to
produce high quality wine raw products. At the signing ceremony the
Marussia Beverages BV president said investors were interested in
laying new vineyards, and constructing and reconstructing
agricultural facilities in Crimea.

Airplanes from Moscow
return to Vinnytsia airport

After a 12-year break the
first airplane from Moscow landed at Vinnytsia airport. At present,
it appears that planes will cover the Vinnytsia-Moscow route (to
Vnukovo airport) twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays. A one-way
ticket will cost about $140. The flight lasts two and a half hours.
