Popular Turkish TV channel
promotes the tourism of Crimea

TRT, one of the most popular Turkish TV channels,
is promoting Crimea by producing a serious of films popularizing Crimean
tourist attractions abroad. The series allegedly includes 50 programs with 30
minutes each. For now 37 programs have been already made. Alexander Liev, minister
of tourism
and resorts
of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, awarded the program authors for good work, professionalism and making

topped three best world’s designers

Alyona Serebrova, a Ukrainian designer, topped the three best world’s
designers at an annual East European Societa’ Italia Fashion Fest held in Milan on Nov.13-15. The fashion fest is usually
joined by designers from Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan and Georgia (the latter was
a debutant at the fest). Societa’ Italia Fashion Fest is aimed at supporting talented designers in reaching
international level and establishing cooperation with famous trendsetters.

Eskimo is believed to be the first Ukrainian animated cartoon to be broadcast abroad.

 Ukrainian cartoon will be first
shown abroad

 For the first time in the history of Ukraine, one of the nation’s animated
cartoons, Eskimo, has been purchased abroad. The Ukrainian product will be
broadcast in Canada, the United States, China and India. The budget was more
than $1.5 million. The cartoon consists of 26 series,
5 minutes each. The 3D animation is meant for the kids at the age of 2-5. Source:

Voloka village in Chernivtsi Oblast is known for high-quality yet cheap wedding attire.

 The Guardian
found a wedding village in Ukraine

Journalists of the leading British newspaper, The Guardian,
called the village of Voloka (in Chernivtsi Oblast) “the post-Soviet
capital of nuptials.” Every third building there is
a wedding shop. Clients from different countries of the world such
as Romaina, Moldova, Hungary, Slovakia, Germany, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and
Baltic states, come to the village to buy wedding items. Two things that
attract buyers mostly are high quality and low prices of the garments (€40-400).

Peace Corps volunteers promote Ternopil Oblast

Audrey Base and Peter Narayan, U.S. Peace Corps volunteers
who have lived in the Zbarazh (Ternopil Oblast) for two years, liked the
surrounded atmosphere so that they want to share their emotions with other
people. They liked especially traditions and customs, embroidered clothes,
lifestyle and highly appreciated sincerity and hospitality of Ukrainian people.
Americans made a decision to acquaint their fellow citizens with Ukraine and
the region.
