The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe has called on Russia to release all 24 Ukrainian servicemen seized on Nov. 25, 2018, and has insisted that their treatment must be in accordance with the Geneva Conventions. This includes the Third Geneva Convention which specifically regulates treatment of prisoners of war.
