The concrete wall of the Ukrainian air transportation market was eventually broken as one of the largest low-cost airlines in Europe, Ryanair announced its intention to work in Ukraine. Ryanair was not the first low-cost airline operating in the country, however, its entrance to the market made even monopolistic Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) rethink its prices.
