Aleksandr Zakharchenko, the leader of Russia-backed separatists in eastern Ukrainian region of Donbas has called for the confiscation of all agricultural food products and their being handed over to his regime, an ugly order in and of itself and especially ugly given Ukraine’s experience with the Holodomor in 1932-1933.
