“In view of the threat that has arisen to Ukraine’s democracy we, representatives of political parties and public organizations, declare that we unite our forces within the Committee to Oppose Dictatorship.
“The repressions against civil activists and arrests of the opposition party leaders have become a tool for the ruling regime to eliminate its political opponents and to establish a dictatorship in Ukraine.
“We urge everyone who cares about Ukraine’s independence and democracy to rebuff the attempts.
“We demand the immediate release of all political prisoners, the resumption of open court proceedings, the return of Ukraine’s judiciary to a legal basis, and a stop to its use as a means of reprisal against opponents of the ruling regime. “
