10 facts about ‘Bitter Harvest’ drama
Feb. 23 ‘Bitter Harvest’, an epic saga of great love against the backdrop of the tragic events of Ukrainian history, 1932-1933’s, released in Ukraine. The film by Canadian filmmakers attracted famous Hollywood, European and Ukrainian actors.
We offer some interesting facts about the film shooting.
Fact 1: The film is mainly shot in Ukraine (the Museum in Pyrohiv and Kyiv). Several scenes were filmed at the studio in London.

Ukrainian designer’s work decorates Google Instagram account
Google workers decorated the company’s Instagram account with the photo were the letter G is composed of plants and succulents in small pots design. The composition belongs to Anna Pashchenko, Ukrainian designer and founder of Roslynka brand.
Three days after the photo was placed on the account page it could gather 43,000 likes and 200 comments.
The flower composition was made in collaboration of Roslynka band with Plitos, exclusive decor and interior elements, and educational project in.Lab. All these companies are Ukraine-based.

Kyiv to turn into one of the world’s hockey capitals
April 22-28, Kyiv Palace of Sports will host the 2017 IIHF World Championship Division I, the international ice hockey tournament run by the International Ice Hockey Federation.
Ukrainians will compete with the teams from Kazakhstan, Hungary, Austria, Poland and South Korea.
The Group B tournament will take place in Belfast (UK) on April 23-29.
The 2017 IIHF World Championship will be hosted by Paris and Cologne on May 5-21.

‘The of the Turtledovee’ is travelling to Vienna
March 25-26 ‘The Nest of the Turtledovee’ will be shown in Vienna. The shows will take place under the 5th LET’S CEE Film Festival to be held on March 21-27.
LET’S CEE Film Festival aims at promoting films produced by talented filmmakers, facilitating establishment and development of intercultural dialogue, and providing a better understanding and tolerance between people, both nationally and internationally.

The river transport to run in Kyiv this spring
This spring the river transport will start running along the Dnipro thereby connect two banks of the city.
As Mr.Serhii Maizel, head of the Kyiv City State Administration transport infrastructure unit, says high-speed vehicles and ships will be used in the route.
The transport will start its route at the pier №10 and move toward Rusanivka canal. In addition, it is planned to create a temporary berth at the International Exhibition Center, Eurovision-2017 Song Contest main arena.
The exact schedule and ticket prices will depend on the transport kind.
