Eurovision-2017 fan zone to open at St. Sophia’s Square
April 30, one of fan zone will open at St. Sophia’s Square. The zone will work until May 14.
During the whole period the visitors can attend 11 concerts with the participation of Ukrainian singers, and watch some resentation video about Ukrainian culture, traditions and folk customs shown between the stage performances; make a souvenir photo in the themed photo zones; buy souvenirs and handicrafts, and relax with friends or family.
The fan zone will work daily from 10 a.m to 8 p.m. Entry is free.

‘Secrets of Easter Pysanka’ are shown in 200,000 tulips
Spivoche Pole (Pechersk Landscape Park) in Kyiv is hosting a tulip festival ‘Secrets of Easter Pysanka’.
Over 200,000 tulips of about 12 species (different colors, height and flowering periods) have been planted to create compositions to show symbolism of pysanka (Easter egg), one of the main attributes of Easter. The exhibition runs until May 10.
The festival working hours: 9 a.m – 9 p.m.

About 16 excursions to offered to Eurovision-2017 delegations
April 29 – May 14 about 16 tours around the city will be offered to the delegations of the countries-contestants. The walking tours will be provided by tour desk ‘Interesting Kyiv’, bus trips will be arranged by ‘City sightseeing bus’ company.

Kharkiv hospital to provide better medical examination
Kharkiv regional hospital bought a 128-slice CT scanner that will provide a better examination of organs and vessels as well.
The computer tomography examination will be free for patients having a doctor’s appointment.
The equipment costs Hr 26 million.

Third festival ‘Ethno Khutir’ to take place in Tel Aviv
May 12, Tel Aviv will host the third festival ‘Ethno Khutir’.
The festival program includes: presentation of Ukrainian cuisine; charity fair of souvenirs and handicrafts; dances; workshops; competitions and entertainments; funs children, and so on.

The organizer of the festival is public organization ‘Israeli Friends of Ukraine’ with the support of Ukrainian Jewish Encounter and the Embassy of Ukraine in Israel.
