Volyn Oblast to welcome traders from 20 countries

In June, Volyn Oblast will be visited by representatives of the foreign embassies, accredited in Ukraine, and international organizations from about 20 countries as well. The delegates will participate in the International Trade Club in Ukraine session.

The event prorgam, particularly, includes presentation of economic potential of the region and investment projects in the following spheres: agriculture, food processing and food industry, machinery, woodworking, light industry and chemical industry as well as recreation and tourism industry.

International Trade Club is a non-governmental organization established in 1992 on the initiative of foreign diplomats and support of the former Ministry on Foreign Economic Relations of Ukraine. Today the club brings together representatives of trade and economic affairs departments of nearly 60 foreign embassies and international organizations accredited in Ukraine. The club is chaired by the First Secretary of the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Ukraine, Sonia Kraychova.

Modern cardiologic cetner to be built in Vinnytsia Oblast

Over the next five years, authorities in Vinnytsia Oblast plan to implement a project on creating a modern regional cardiologic center. The Regional Diagnostic Center of cardiovascular disease to be formed on the basis of cardiology hospital No. 1 and completed by construction of a new modular Corps Center.

The project will be implemented within the framework of the World Bank program to reform regional health system in Ukraine. The volume of international institutions financial aid is $32.4 million.

90% of the funds for the cardiologic center will be given by the bank, the rest, 10 percent, will be allocated from the regional budget.

Odessa film director receives World Media Festival Golden Award 

Documentary Leonardo Da Vinci by Mikhail Hersonskiy has received Globe-Gold Award in Documentary Drama subcategory. The documentary is devoted to the Renaissance genius, his life and creative work.

World Media Festival award ceremony will take part on May 14 in Hamburg, Germany.

World Media Festival is a community that unites leading specialists of communication department, marketing, advertising and radio companies as well as creative media production specialists.

This year about 700 applications from 35 countries were sent to World Media Festival.

In 2012 the documentary ‘Ukraine. Starting Point’ received Globe-Gold Award, and military series ‘Ballad about Bomber’ received Globe-Silver in Mini Series subcategory.

Rivne Oblast is advancing in inclusion education

Inclusion Resource Center has been opened in Rivne. The centre will operate under Rivne Center of Early Pedagogical Rehabilitation and Social Adaptation for Kids with Special Needs.

The center is opened for parents, teachers, mentors, social organizations and others interested in inclusion education promotion.

This center was created under the Inclusion Education: Step By Step project. The objective of the project is to improve educational resources for kids with special needs.

Rivne region is one of the five Ukrainian regions to bring the project to life. Nowadays 60 inclusion classes with more than 80 kids operate in Rivne region.

Carpathian culture and ecotourism will meet in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast

From May 2-4, a festival of the Carpathian culture and ecological tourism Cheremosh Fest 2014 takes place in Kryvorivnia village, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast.

The following bands and singers will take part in the musical part on the festival: KozakSystem, DrymbaDaDzyga, TaRuta, Folknery, Sergiy Pidkaura (Kyiv), KoraLLi, Perkalabsky Prydatky, Flit (Ivano-Frankivsk), LosColorados (Tenopil), Odyn v kanoe (Lviv), Trysta8isim (Uzhhorod), Gutsuly of Mykola Ilyuk (Verhovyna), Petros (Vorohta), Gutsuly (Kosiv), Chumatskiy Shlyah (Khmelnitskiy), Gutsul Kalipso (Chenihiv), LemonBucketOrkestra (Canada).

Rafting in Chorniy Chermosh is a part of festival program.

Festival organizers present the event as a discussion platform for ecological consciousness increase and as an open air creative laboratory to express the ideas and develop measures for region cultural heritage preservation.
