Voice of Ukraine lecture in Chicago

The Art of the Barricades/Voice of Ukraine lecture will take place at the
Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art in Chicago on May 17. The lecture will
be given by Ukrainian philosopher, Natalia Musienko.

The audience will get to know how the Independence Square, heart of
Ukraine, turned site of battle into a piece of art for three months: patriotic
and revolutionary graffiti, photos, posters, installation and art performances.

Stella Handler, best-paid manager in Israel

For the past 5 years Stella Handler, general director of Bezeq group,
took a lead in Israel top 50 best-paid managers for the second time. Such a
result was announced by Globes. According to Globes, 52 year-old Handler earned nearly 9 million shekels in
2013. Handler was born in 1962 in Ukraine; in 1874 her family
immigrated to Israel. After military service she received degree in management
in Hebrew University. She was the head of the board in HOT and the head of the
012 Smile. In 2013 she was appointed general director of Bezeq group.

Ukrainian champion

Arthur Khlebosolov succeeded at Givi Anfimiady Cup, the biggest
international tournament and unofficial juniors’ world championship held in
Rostov-On-Don, Russia.

Ukrainian managed to beat the best world cueists including Serhiy
Kryzhanov, two-times world champion and St.Petersburg Open winner.

Arthur Khlebosolov is a bronze world champion and 2013 champion of
Ukraine.

Little Nobel Prize to Ukrainian authors

Serhiy and Tatiana Dzyuba became the first Ukrainian writers who won The
Little Nobel Prize,  Ludvig Nobel
International Literature Prize ‘Budon’. Ukrainians were awarded for the
successful implementation of the international literature project ‘Poems by
Serhiy and Tatiana Dzyuba in 50 languages, poetry collection ‘Selected
Poems’ (USA), ‘Conversation between a man and a woman’ (Poland), in
particularly.

Serhiy and Tatiana’s new books can be found in Ukraine, Poland, Italy,
Macedonia, USA and Udmurtia.

Ludvig Nobel International Literature Prize Budon (‘Budon’ translated
from Udmurt as ‘triumph’) is named after the elder brother of Alfred Nobel,
Ludvig, who was living in Udmurtia for a long time and did a lot for the
regional social and economic development.
