“I suppose that the association agreement with the European Union will not be signed, but I think that we should stay here until we get official information on when negotiations with the EU will resume and the next potential date of signing this agreement. The EU is like a network which consists of equally independent countries. If we take the course to Russia, it means that we will obey one center: Moscow. I don’t want that.”

“I think that we should stay until the end of the Vilnius summit (which ends on Nov. 29). In case President Viktor Yanukovych does not sign the agreement, we must stay and keep fighting, keep EuroMaidan until the government is overthrown, because the government cannot continue working with such criminal actions. We must keep fighting until the people of Ukraine win.”

“I think that we came out here not to persuade Yanukovych to sign it, but to show that we are a European youth, so we have another kind of thinking. If he doesn’t sign the agreement this year, we will get to Europe anyway, sooner or later. If it doesn’t happen on (Nov. 29), there is no point in staying on Maidan. We should either act more radically or go home.”

“I have nothing to lose, so I will stay here until the end, no matter how it ends. We cannot leave it that way, because we lost the victory in 2004. I hope that among the opposition, leaders will appear who will encourage our people to fight this occupying government. I will do my best to take part in this fight.”

“I’m here because I have a credo ‘Ukraine above everything.’ If they don’t sign the agreement, we should organize a national strike.”
