Constant search for improvement is inherent to every big company. But it takes a true industry leader to unveil a brand new trend, to come searching for unconventional ways it can make the lives of its customers better.

It was this strive that made Biosphere Corporation stand out when it came up with yet unseen products for the Ukrainian market – simple, yet really useful, which was soon proven in sales and demand.

In 20 years the company led by the Dnipro-born Andriy Zdesenko has evolved from a local startupto an international giant delivering its goods into thousands of households in more than 20 countries. Dozens of own and exclusively distributed brands (Freken BOK, Novita, Smile, Eventa, Selpakto name a few) make up for 1 million products purchased daily! Today Biosphere Corporation competes with international behemothslike P&G, Johnson&Johnson, Henkel and Unilever not just in Ukraine but on several continents.

It was Biosphere that introduced the Ukrainians to an entirely new culture of cooking by launching baking sleeves. The company made another sensation with its convenient waste bags equipped with handles – the product turned into a bestseller in 2017. Being the pioneer of wet wipes production in Ukraine with its state-of-the-art production facilities, Biosphere Corporation was the one responsible for “Minion fever” among the kids after presenting banana-scented wet wipes with the beloved characters. Also last year Biosphere Corporation came up with the world’s first coloured wet wipes with the ever-popular “Frozen” characters, winning the hearts of a younger audience.  To crown it all, the “PRO service” division of Biosphere is the national leader in providing professional solutions for HoReCa.

All this said,Biosphere still manages to keep the spirit and dynamics of a startup company. This approach makes it easy to accept future challenges, develop a range of new activities and apply new technologies. With this in mind Biosphere is introducing its Biosphere StartUP Platform for investments in hardware and product design startups. Having financed the Product Idea Accelerator by Concepter, Biosphere StartUP Platform will soon introduce the five startups by young entrepreneurs and inventors from all over the world, including Ukraine. The main idea behind the search for new technologies is to make a difference to the world, making it a better place.
