Vitaliy Klitschko: “This year’s Kyiv Investment Forum will be dedicated to the smart development of Kyiv agglomeration and its creative transformation”.

On September 10, 2021, an important annual event in the economic life of the capital will be held – Kyiv Investment Forum. The event will be devoted to the smart development of the Kyiv agglomeration and its creative transformation, said the mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko.

He also noted that Kyiv is focused on transformations that will make the city more technologically advanced, environmentally friendly, and resilient to future challenges.

“The COVID-19 pandemic was a big challenge for the whole world. The new reality has forced city authorities to rethink key areas and promising sectors to unlock the capital’s potential. We see the prospect in further smart development of Kyiv and its investment-attractive areas – creative industries, information and communication technologies, and pharmaceutics. These branches of city economy should become the basis for further economic and social development of the capital city,” noted Vitaliy Klitschko.

This year the representatives of Kyiv city authorities and international experts will meet at the Investment Forum in CEC Parky. They will discuss the urban challenges aggravated because of COVID-19, the international experience of overcoming the economic consequences caused by the pandemic, and the ways of development of the capital city region.

The forum will include the main session focused on the new opportunities of the investment-attractive industries, as well as four discussion panels: ” Tools to attract investment to the projects of the Greater Kyiv”, “Adapting to Climate Change: Rapid Urban Development and Environmental Protection”, “Keeping the Community Healthier” and “Creative Transformation: Codes of the New Reality”. The event will continue with a public talk dedicated to attracting investment in the development of the metropolis.

Throughout the forum, Kyiv companies will also show investors the potential of the capital region in healthcare, food industry, consumer goods production, logistics, high-tech, public administration, entertainment industry, as well as chemical and FMCG industries.
