The first and innovative Kyiv Tourism Forum 2019 was held on October 4, where 12 speakers presented how Ukraine can use the experience of world tourism leaders.

The forum speakers were representatives of international companies such as

Sieder TourismStrategies (Austria), Vienna Convention Bureau, Expo 2020 Dubai (UAE), Mercury 97 (Bulgaria), ICCA, PKF, STR, VIP Tourism, MEET Riga and others.

The MICE panel addressed the following issues:

How can Ukraine implement the Vienna Convention Bureau’s success strategy?

How do you get visitors to a mega-event?

How can Kiev compete with the most popular cities?

How do event organizers select partners for events?

Following the speakers ‘speeches, Dmitry Tantsyura – CEO of Albatros Travel, moderator of the MICE panel, held an interesting open discussion on the use of the speakers’ experience in Ukraine and Kyiv.

In the LEISURE panel, the following topics were presented:

Key Factors for Successful Tourism Destination Development, Hospitality Market News (Key Trends and Forecasts) in Ukraine and Kyiv,

Use of creativity and motivation in stimulating travel and event organization

As destinations to be attractive to meetings and events abroad and why it is important to diversify customers. ”

At the end of the panel, Veolika Uschapovskaya – Deol Partners and moderator of the LEISURE panel spoke with the speakers in a discussion format to discuss the topics presented.

The last – third panel of TRENDS- gave the participants and guests of the event the opportunity to learn about how a blogger can promote a tourist destination and what can and should not be done by collaborating with thought leaders.

The TRENDS panel concluded with an interesting and interactive discussion moderated by Anton Taranenko, raising questions about how to promote tourist destinations through the Youtube platform.

Anton Taranenko: “The goal was to create an event for the hospitality industry professional community. Speakers and topics picked up the current trends in tourism and a request from professionals.

We didn’t have much time for the organization, and the desire to create high-quality content and a pleasant atmosphere outweighed other indicators.
