You're reading: Ukraine to Be Visited by Israeli Leading Tech Companies with Total Capital Exceeding $35 Billion

The agenda of Ukrainian Israeli Innovation Summit 2019 to be held on 30 October at UNIT.City has been published. It will include speeches by the Israeli tech heavyweights, presentations and cases by the leading Israeli companies as well as panel discussions with experts from both countries.

More than 50 speakers and 70 high-tech companies will represent Israel’s automotive industry, safe city, health tech, fintech, space tech, agritech, energy tech, AI, cybersecurity, etc.

Key speakers:

  • Jon Medved, founder of OurCrowd, the world’s largest equity crowdfunding platform for investors (which raised $1 billion in a day);
  • Amir Rapaport, Israeli expert in global cyber trends, hi-tech and defence industry; founder of the largest cyber security conference Cybertech Israel;
  • Igor Ryabenkiy, serial entrepreneur and angel investor, Managing Partner at AltaIR Capital, one of the most active Israeli venture funds;
  • Peli Peled, owner of People and Computers, the largest Israeli IT media.

 A separate section of the Summit’s agenda will be dedicated to the cases of the leading Israeli tech companies developing the solutions that save lives and the world. The companies representing their tech solutions will include Mobileye, leader in the area of the computer vision for the autonomous driving technology (purchased by Intel in 2017 for $ 15.3 billion), Mer Group, leading integrator in the communication and security industry, Check Point, global cyber security leader (its customers include all the companies in Fortune 100 and Global 100).

“Our ambitious goal is not only to bring the Israeli tech companies here, but also to create the platform for the efficient dialogue that will facilitate implementation of the advanced innovation solutions in Ukraine,” says Alyona Novgorodskaya, Founder & Executive Producer at the Ukrainian Israeli Innovation Summit and CEO & Founder at the Global Israeli Initiative.

The Ukrainian companies will also present their innovation projects. In particular, Kseniya Prozhogina, HR & Communications Director of MHP Agro & Industrial Holding, and the project group will present the unique system of emotional states monitoring and present the analysis technology, efficiency and first results.

Topics to be presented at the panel discussions of the Summit:

  • How The Government Fosters Innovation: discussion of how Ukraine can use the successful Israeli cases and practices to support innovation at the state level;
  • Innovation in Corporations: Trend or Way to Survive: discussion of how to initiate and introduce corporate innovation and how modern corporations are preparing for the future, illustrated by successful cases from the companies;
  • Little Big Shots: Young Geniuses Changing the World: discussion of the future technology with talented Israeli and Ukrainian children who have succeeded in entrepreneurship, technology and science;
  • Getting That Cheque from Israeli Investors for Ukrainian Start-ups: what venture capitalists invest into globally, what areas should be invested into tomorrow, and how Ukrainian start-ups can become attractive for the Israeli venture investors;
  • Developing Ukrainian and Israeli Eco-System: discussion of the prospects and challenges of the business cooperation between Ukraine and Israel, illustrated by cases of the Israeli companies that already operate in Ukraine.

Ukrainian Israeli Innovation Summit 2019 will be held as a part of the Israeli Innovation Week in Ukraine and attended by more than 600 top managers, IT entrepreneurs, government representatives, start-ups, investors and business angels. This will be the first week of the business events in Ukraine dedicated to the Israeli and Ukrainian technology and innovation. The Israeli Innovation Week in Ukraine will be held on 29-31 October 2019.

The Israeli Innovation Week in Ukraine is organised by the international platform Global Israeli Initiative and the innovation park UNIT.City with the support by the Embassy of Israel in Ukraine and the Embassy of Ukraine in the State of Israel. The event is co-organised by MHP Agro & Industrial Holding and the investment platform JS Capital.
