The menus (there are several!) offer a wide range of authentic Italian dishes from carefully chosen traditional recipes. And just to make sure, the pastas and risotto are homemade, while the focaccia comes straight out of the oven located on the premises. With essential dishes from Sicily to Venice, Vino e Cucina knows that just one region cannot represent the whole of Italy. That’s why you should definitely try roman spaghetti cacio e pepe and spaghetti all’Amatriciana, named after the town of Amatriace in the province of Rieti in the Lazio region. The exclusive dishes are of artichokes, zucchini flowers and of course – black truffle.

One of the house specialties is succulent beef fillet with al pepe verde sauce. Other great options include Milanese cutlets with saffron risotto, Roman style saltimbocca and beef tagliata with smoke mashed potato.
Or is it a fish day? Aside from a range of grilled sea fish, you might be tempted by octopus in a red spicy sauce alla Luciana. Or a platter of the eight-legged king of the sea, tiger prawns, squid and scallops.
But there is no need to wait until the evening to enjoy the outstanding meals offered by Vino e Cucina. Italian breakfasts prepared with organic eggs and homemade yoghurts are available from 0800 to 1600 daily.

And just as Vino e Cucina recreates the authenticity of Italian dining, it is faithful to that center of Italian life – the family. And there is no skating by with just a children’s menu. In addition to the fully equipped playground, an animator is always on call to entertain. Whether a lone child of a group of rambunctious kids, our team is ready to ensure maximum fun. The pizzeria is open to games and master classes, while a special children’s brunch can be booked on weekends, where they can learn how to cook and dine the Italian way!
And don’t miss out on the seasonal festivals. While Vino e Cucina prides itself on using products imported from Italy, it also takes advantage of the best of what Ukraine has to offer, from strawberries to asparagus.
A place for all occasions
Families, friends, demanding gourmands, romantic couples or business partners all are catered to on Vino e Cucina’s vast territory. The main floor, with its rustic appeal, holds the pizzeria and its wood-fired oven. The cozy atmosphere is reminiscent of Tuscan kitchen, while the deceptively large space is ideal for gatherings. The upper floor is pure elegance, like a Venetian villa. Warm colors and timber beams create a romantic, congenial atmosphere. And the lower floor is more than just a wine cellar. In addition to the temperature-controlled wine vault containing vintages from every Italian region, the space offers a hall dedicated to wine and cheese tastings.
And should the warm weather tempt you to dine outdoors, a spacious terrace with ample seating and protection from the elements is at your disposal. There is even a long bar.
Restaurant of a thousand wines
As the name implies, Vino e Cucina positions itself as an enoteca, and it takes this responsibility very seriously. The in-house sommelier is always on hand to assist in selections, whether for a multi-course meal or a cheese board. With over 1,500 of the world’s best wines, hundreds of top-rated champagnes and more than fifty kinds of grappa, no thirst will go unquenched.
Wine-tastings are hosted several times a month, featuring world-renowned experts showing off some of the finest vintages. Or, should you prefer a more intimate setting, private events can be booked. And once the knowledge has been absorbed and the grape consumed, the best of the best is available at the restaurant shop to take home. And the price is quite pleasant.
And what would an exclusive wine-tasting event be without the cheeses to match? Vino e Cucina takes as great care in purveying the best curds as with providing the finest wines. A wide range of cheeses are kept in a scent-proof chamber and are chosen with scientific precision to go with the wine of your choice. The Mozzarella bar alone has select sorts flown in twice a week.
And should a connoisseur decide that the evening’s bottle is worthy of being enjoyed over several days, Vino e Cucina had a “wine safe” on the premises to preserve the vintage until the much anticipated next time.
