Earlier this year, Ukraine became the largest exporter of eggs in the EU with a share of 38 percent, surpassing the US. This was reported by Polish Radio.
“According to the European Commission, only in January of this year the EU countries purchased 874 tons of eggs and egg products in Ukraine and that is several times more than in January 2010. Ukrainian supplies exceeded even imports from the United States. So Ukraine at the beginning of the year was the largest exporter of eggs to the EU (38 percent), “the message said.
