Jysk Ukraine LLC (Kyiv), developing the JYSK furniture and household goods store chain of Jysk Group (Denmark), on August 29 will open two new stores – in Lviv and Kryvy Rih, expanding the chain in Ukraine to 54 stores.

According to a company press release, the store in Kryvy Rih with an area of 1,300 square meters will be open in Victory Plaza shopping center located at 37, Lermontov Street. It will be the second store of the chain operating in Kryvy Rih.

The store in Lviv will be located in the Auchan shopping center at 16i, Chornovol Street. Its area will be 1,200 square meters.

As reported, Jysk Ukraine LLC plans to open 12 new stores annually and to expand its network to 100 stores in four financial years.

As reported, in the past financial year (September 1, 2017/August 31, 2018), it showed more than 30 percent increase in turnover in comparative stores, fulfilling the target for the planned turnover of Hr 1 billion.

JYSK network began to develop in Ukraine in 2004. As of February 6, 2019, the chain was represented by 47 stores, as well as an online store.
