You're reading: DTEK increases Zakhidenergo’s capacity thanks to construction of solar power plant

Public joint-stock company DTEK Zakhidenergo has increased its capacity by 0.5 MW, from 4.669 GW to 4.669 GW.

According to the materials of the National Commission for Energy, Housing and Utilities Services Regulation (NCER), the capacity was changed thanks to construction of a solar power plant with a capacity of 0.527 MW as part of reconstruction of Ladyzhyn thermal power plant (TPP).

DTEK Zakhidenergo operates 23 units of Burshtyn, Ladyzhyn and Dobrotvirska TPPs, as well as Ladyzhyn hydroelectric power plant (7.5 MW) with a total capacity of 4.669 GW. SCM’s structures hold 97.2 percent of DTEK Zakhidenergo.

DTEK was founded in 2005 to manage the energy assets of SCM, which belongs to Rinat Akhmetov.
