You're reading: Ernest Airlines cancels flights from Lviv to Venice, Milan from Jan. 21

Italy’s Ernest Airlines reduces the number of flights from the Lviv international airport to optimize cooperation, the airport has reported on its Facebook page.

“From January 21, 2019, flights to Venice and Milan (Malpensa) will be canceled. The updated schedule of flights and new destinations will be announced,” the airport said.

The Lviv airport said that in 2018, Ernest Airlines carried over 100,000 passengers between Lviv and Italian cities.

Ernest Airlines began flying to Lviv from October 20, 2017, launching a flight from Lviv to Milan (Bergamo). In December 2017, the airline started flights to Venice and Naples, and from June 22, 2018, Ernest Airlines expanded the geography of flights to Milan (Malpensa) and Rome (Fiumicino).

Ernest Airlines is an Italian airline headquartered in Milan. The main operations center of the company is located in Tirana (Albania). The airline is a low-cost carrier. It services Italian and Albanian markets.
