Kernel agricultural holding, one of the largest in Ukraine, is mulling the possibility of building a sunflower processing plant in Western Ukraine in 2018-2019.

“We are mulling the possibility of building sunflower processing facilities in Western Ukraine. We have been working in the west, where we are developing other directions, elevator business, for a long time. This is the plan for 2018-2019. And now we are considering Khmelnytsky and Ternopil regions,” the director of the department for production, research and agribusiness development at Kernel, Vitaliy Stavnychuk, told journalists on the sidelines of the Kyiv International Economic Forum.
