As reported, in January, Ryanair built up 100 percent of the Austrian airline Laudamotion, later renamed Lauda.

In August 2018, Ryanair announced the completion of the acquisition of a 75 percent stake in Laudamotion, earlier in the spring, having bought a 24.9 percent stake in the airline.

According to the website, the Lauda fleet consists of 19 Airbus aircraft. The airline flies to 49 destinations in 18 countries. The company’s base is located in Vienna, while the company also develops bases in Stuttgart and Dusseldorf (Germany), planning to transport 5 million passengers in 2019.
